Hi! My name is Sarah Mead McKinney and I am currently an English Special Educator at the Middle School level. I hold certifications in Pre-k-12 special education (Masters) and 4-12 English Language Arts. I have experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum (The Ivymount School and Autism Waiver) and have taught both general education English and 5 different reading interventions over the past 10 years to 6-8th graders.
Teaching is my passion and I am always looking to broaden my horizons with grade levels and subjects. I learn just as much from my students as they do from me, and I find working with children very fulfilling. My goal is to help children reach their goals!
